Vaccines are key in preventing diseases in your pet. In our area we have a few common diseases that can be easily prevented through vaccination. We use Pfizer and Merial vaccines and will discuss your pets individual risks and vaccinate accordingly.
Dental care is another way to keep your pet happy and healthy. Tartar build up on teeth can not only cause bad breath and gum disease but bacteria can spread and cause kidney and liver problems for your pet. We offer a wide variety of Virbac dental health products such as toothpastes and treats. We also have a digital dental x-ray machine to diagnose dental problems.
If it is too late for prevention, we can clean your pets teeth for you. During our dental cleaning, your pet is put under anesthesia and their teeth are cleaned and polished.
There are few things worse than having your pet get lost and not having a way back home. Avid microchips will help solve this problem! We implant a small microchip under your pets skin. If your pet gets lost and is brought to a shelter or veterinary hospital, they will be scanned for the chip and an ID number will help identify them. When you register your pet on the AVID website, your pets name and address will be known to whoever found your pet so they can return him to you!
Disease can be spread through parasites so preventing them is a must! We offer many products for Flea, Tick and Heartworm prevention such as Frontline, Sentinel, Interceptor, Vectra, Revolution and Heartguard. If you are having a specific problem with fleas give us a call and we can recommend a combination of products that can eradicate the situation safely and efficiently!
We also suggest the 4dx snap test, an annual heartworm test that also tests for lyme’s disease, erlichia and anaplasmosis.
